1. Introduction

SGT IS ("the App") is developed and maintained by MEIT Solutions ("we", "us", "our") for SGT International School (Shan Golden Triangle International School). This Privacy Policy describes how we handle information when you use our mobile application.

2. Data Collection

The App does NOT collect personal data from users. All user accounts and school data (student profiles, exam results, fees, activities, etc.) are created and managed by the SGT International School administration on the school's backend server.

The App only:

  • Authenticates students and parents with phone number and password against the school's existing backend
  • Displays school information that is already stored on the backend server
  • Stores a session token (JWT) locally on the device for automatic login

The App does NOT:

  • Collect, create, or upload any new personal data
  • Access the camera, photo library, or device location for data collection
  • Use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services
  • Share any data with advertisers or data brokers

3. Local Storage

  • A session token (JWT) is stored securely on the device using iOS Keychain or Android Keystore for automatic session restoration
  • Passwords are never stored on the device
  • No personal data is cached or stored locally beyond the session token

4. Data Security

  • All communications between the App and the school server use encrypted connections
  • The session token is stored using platform-native secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore)
  • The App does not transmit data to any third-party servers

5. Data Sharing

We do NOT share, sell, or rent any user information to third parties. All data remains on the school's own backend server and is accessible only to:

  • SGT International School administration (for school management)
  • MEIT Solutions (for technical support and app maintenance)

6. Children's Privacy

The App may be used by minors (students) under the supervision of SGT International School. Since the App does not collect personal data — it only displays information already managed by the school — no additional data is gathered from children. All student accounts are created by the school administration.

7. Your Rights

Since all data is managed by SGT International School, you may contact the school administration to:

  • Request access to your information
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be communicated through the App or the school's official channels.
